I gave up on a book yesterday. I made it to page 51, but for some reason the story just wasn't holding my interest at all. The main character also had a penchant for being really crude, and for some reason that was just bugging me in the context of a "chick lit" novel. On to something else!

Well, I ended up one shy of my 200 books read goal. But that's okay! 199 is a lot of books to read. I've started my first book for the new year, but it's a long one, so not sure how soon I'll be making my first book entry here! :)
